Interview With Robbie Dinero

"My name is Rob aka "Mr. Yung Money", "Yung Dinero", "Robbie Dinero"...im 17 years old...and I reside in Jackson Heights, Queens. I work at the only sb shop in Queens "Sprint 2". I also throw parties in Queens. You can catch me all over the city..from downtown SoHo...to Harlem...to the L.E.S....14 st.....timesquare..I'm EVERYWHERE. My sense of style orginated from a vision in my head of a lifestyle...something beyond New York..something beyond fashion......a lifestyle filled with extensive traveling, the social elitis nightlife, and a high-end fashion sense that would make the late Yves Saint Laurent turn in his grave. I see myself like a hood Gianni Versace. Style is more than just what you wear...its about how you live....and I'm living the lavish life."
- Rob

Define fashion to us.
-Fashion is the art of style. Some shit is hot for a week or two, but fashion is timeless.

What does fashion mean to you?
-Fashion means everything to me. I try to imagine and paint a picture with my outfits. I live for the lifestyle aspect of fashion. I dress like I always got somewhere to be or someone to see. I dress like a young boss...... just a little flashier. *winks* (laughs)

What is your favorite brand?
-My favorite clothing brand for street wear has to be Rocksmith Tokyo. I love the color schemes they use and its a real lifestyle brand. Some pieces are pieces you can see at a Japanese night club, and others have a real Miami or New York flow about them.
-My favorite high-end clothing line is definitely Gucci. I think its just a hood favorite.

Who or what inspired your lifestyle?
-A lot of stuff I read about, see on T.V or in magazines, and where I see myself in 5 years mixed all together makes the lifestyle I imagine and see for myself.

What do you see yourself doing, 5 years from now?
-I see myself as a CEO owning a few business (barbershops, bodegas, etc.) working on my own clothing line, partying at the hottest clubs, and making house note money.

What would your clothing line be called?
-I really have no idea, but i would like to use "Lavish Life" in another language.

If you could meet one person who would it be? Why? What would you guys do?
-Definitely Kanye West...lol. I would like to go shopping with him in Japan or Italy and pick his brain to see where he gets his inspiration from for his music/fashion. Kanye West is my favorite rapper and fashion icon, he is definitely a trendsetter. When you can wear some shutter shades and have every cornball and their mother rockin' the $5 knockoffs that is how you know you are important. (laughs)

So, I hear that you were titled "Best Dressed" at Cardozo High School. How did you feel before and after you received this title?
-To be honest it felt great when I found out I was crowned "Best Dressed." At first I wasn't stressin' it until I realized that if somebody else got this title, I would want to blow up the school (laughs). I put so much money and creativity into my outfits, it was kind of a no-brainer, but I have seen some of the flyest kids walk through "dozo" and never get recognition for it so it felt good that I got this title and my chance to shine.

Any last words before we sign off?
-Yea.. PAUL CHIN IS THE MOTHER FUKING NIGGA!!!! I FUX WITH HIM AND IF YOU DON'T... YOU AIN'T SHIT!!

Check him out on his myspace
